We are moving forward with establishing a first OGM in Italy and have gained ALS MCL (Associazione Lavoratori Stranieri – Movimento Cristiano Lavoratori) as a supporter. ALS is a well-respected national non-profit recognised for migrant integration, legal support, and social inclusion. Their local presence and grievance expertise make them an ideal partner for appellando’s complaints mechanism in Italy.

As activities resume after the August holidays, we invite producer and employer organisations, trade unions, civil society groups, and others to contact our consultant in Italy to expand our stakeholder network.

Individual producer visits are scheduled for 15 to 19 September and 29 September to 2 October to onboard and train the first producers participating in this year’s pilot run. Additional individual meetings can be arranged to allow producers to ask questions directly.
